DescriptionA 17th-century house of two storeys, built on the line of Offa's Dyke. The house was previously dated 1616 with the initials D.R., though the datestone has now eroded. The house has a 2-unit plan with a central entrance, with rubble walls and a slate roof. The datestone was formerly set within the pediment over a 4-light ovolo-moulded mullioned window to the ground floor of the south gable. Above is a 3-light stone mullioned window with similar moulding, which is mainly blocked with one light only open.
