Description
A linear feature marked on the 1891 Ordnance Survey map within the Hyddgen lead mine complex. During fieldwork in 2005, the feature was seen to be a gully, probably marking the line of a former tramway, running for c.50m SSW of spoil tips and wheel pit NPRN 285753, and then continuing for another 30m as a raised earthwork, terminating at spoil tip NPRN 285758. It is on average 6m wide and up to 1.5m deep. R.P. Sambrook, Trysor, 5 January 2006
