DescriptionThe lodge built to serve Pale Hall is a rectangular Victorian gate lodge of brick construction with sandstone ashlar facings; a slate roof with tiled ridge and oversailing verges with decorative cusped bargeboards. There is a large central brick chimney with panelled sides and moulded stone capping. The lodge consists of a main 2-storey gabled range, with catslide verandahs to both sides. These are slated with boarded upper ends and bargeboards as before.
