Description
C17 origins, perhaps contemporary with the rebuilding of the Pentrehobyn Hall, and remodelled in C19 and appears to have been modified when the walled garden was built. This is a large rubble estate building combining barn, flanked by a cartshed at the uphill end and a cowhouse at the downhill end; with a slate roof, gable parapets and kneelers. A good example of an estate barn of C17 origin and for its association with Pentrehobyn (NPRNs 36117 & 37411).
