Description
Roman Road between Caernarfon (Segontivm) and Caerhun (Canovivm) 20.5 miles in length. (Margary ref: RR67C). Variously incorporated into modern tracks and roads or ploughed out.

Comprises:
Sections represented by discontinuous earthworks from west of Rhiw to within the pass of Bwlch-y-Ddeufaen (NPRN 400485-7): associated with milestones of Hadrian & Severus/Caracalla (Wright 1969, Nos1-3), & possibly of Decius (ibid, No 6).

Also includes sections recorded under NPRN 405334-5, 405338, 405340, & possibly NPRN 405337, as the road passes along the northern coastal plain.
