Description
A rectangular platform, 15.6m ENE-WSW by 12.5m, defined by a 42-6.4m wide, embanked moat, upon which are footings of a rectangular building 10m ENE-WSW by 5.0m, with walling 1.0m thick.
The moat was fed from the NW angle and drained to the SW.
Traditionally this is the site of a 'colomendy'/dovecote, possibly associated with Caerforiog mansion (Nprn21699), c.180m to the S across the Solva River.
