Description
A 7.01m (23ft) high wooden framework tower, supporting a small lantern. The light has an elevation of 9.75m (32ft) above high water.

Event and Historical Information:
A 6.1m (20ft) high white tower stood on the early nineteenth-century inner East Pier (the end of this pier still remains) and was replaced by the light on the present East Pierhead (SS 667 915), established in 1909.
