DescriptionSummary: The Malt house, situated in the centre of Llansilin opposite St Silin's Church (nprn 165269), is a nineteenth century two and a half storey stone built malting range, consisting of two cottages and a kiln. Its main east elevation, which runs parallel to the road, has flat headed openings to the malting house; the cottages originally had stone voussoirs but some were altered during the twentieth century. A plaque dates the building to 1822.
