Description
Cropmarks show a curvilinear, pear-shaped enclosure which is univallate except for a second line of inner defence at its widest, south-east end flanking the main gate. Following air photo mapping by T. Driver in 2November 2015, the enclosure measures 34m long by 29m wide. The enclosure lies just to the east of a probable causewayed enclosure (NPRN 309490) and south-west of a pair of plough-levelled round barrows (NPRN 309487). Therefore a pre-Iron Age date for this enclosure would not be unexpected.

T. Driver, RCAHMW, 2015.
