Description
The theatrical triumphal arch guarding the main entrance to Glynllifon Park (NPRN 86377) has a wide central archway flanked by smaller pedestrian entries. It is adorned with eagles and lions and is closed by ornamental iron gates.

There was a lodge on this site in the late eighteenth century, but the present buildings appear to be contemporary with work carried out on the mansion (NPRN 26526) in about 1840. The inner arch has a datestone of 1900.

The arch frames a view of Dinas Dinlle fort (NPRN 35309) for the departing traveller.
