Description
Cardiff Sewage Pumping Station was built on Penarth Road beside the River Ely in 1907-10 by the engineer William Harper. A fine, six-bay, single-storey yellow brick building with red brick dressings and steel roof-trusses, it is currently an antiques centre but many traces of its original equipment can be seen, including the footings of the oil engines.
