DescriptionBuilt as a workhouse in 1879-81 by James, Seaward and Thomas. Centre block of South East wing of two and three storeys by five bays. Each outer-most bay of two storeys only with hipped slate roof. Each intermediate bay with gabled attic storey and flanking stone stacks. Centre bay of two storeys with three storey tower. 2- and 3-light pointed headed windows to the first floor of the centre bay and tower, and pointed headed doorway to the ground floor.
