Description
1. Station and hotel of 1878, slightly altered later.

2. Built 1878, although the cast-iron verandah to S was probably added in 1880. Red brick facing with black mortar and sandstone dressings. Camber-headed windows to ground, second, and third floor, with square-headed ones to first. The two centre windows on first floor of S elevation replaced with bays. Attic storey with pedimented doormers. Moulded plaster cornices to all rooms. Cast iron columns to larger areas. Original fireplaces. Decorative cast-iron balustrade; cantilevered stone steps. Geometric tiling to upper floors.
