Description
A mid Victorian hotel, originally two hotels, the Tudno Castle to the north and the Temperance Hotel to the south.

A stuccoed hotel building, of three storeys and attic with a slate hipped roof, moulded eaves cornice, stringcourses and quoins. There are gabled dormers with round-headed sash lights, with round-headed sash windows with archivolts on second floor. The front elevation is of six bays, with the main roof forming separate hips over the projecting end portions.

The right end bay has a pedimented dormer with a round-headed sash window, a round-headed sash window with archivolt on second floor, and a storeyed, canted three-light window on the first and ground floors.
The second and third bays are recessed. The second bay has a similar round-headed sash window on first floor with impost blocks and a triangular pediment, and on the ground floor, a sash window with a curved upper corner and the main stringcourse forming a triangular pediment over it. The third bay has a storeyed canted three-light bay window descending to basement.
The fourth, fifth and sixth bays project like the first bay, again with the main roof forming a separate hip over, and with the fifth bay projecting further still. On first and ground floors, the fourth and sixth bays each have a storeyed canted three-light bay window descending to basement level, while the fifth (entrance) bay has a round-headed sash window with a triangular pediment on the first floor and, at ground level, a flight of steps leading up through the porch to the main entrance. The porch is an elaborate glass and iron structure with a pierced overthrow, cresting and finials.
The side elevations of the hotel are of similar style; 8 bays to Mostyn Broadway and 3 bays to Conway Road.
