Description
This ring cairn originally comprised four concentric circles of large boulders. Its overall diameter measures approximately 9m, with the central area measuring some 3m across. Only five boulders are noted to remain. The cairn is located approximately 1m south-east of a kerb circle (NPRN 275897).

Excavations in 1971 revealed the northlerly circle (NPRN 275897) to consist of a ring of boulders surrounding a level stone built platform, beneath which was a layer containing beaker sherds, charcoal and flints; suggesting an occupation site replaced by a ritual sepulchral monument (there was no evidence of a burial). The site is a Scheduled Ancient Monument.
