An archaeological assessment carried out by CPAT in 2006 (PRN CPAT38614) interpreted an earthwork measuring 15m x 9m as a probable house platform from which late 18th-19th century pottery was recovered. A subsequent watching brief by Cotswold Archaeology indicated that the earthwork is a former field boundary.
