Description
An incline emerging at the highest level of the tips is the only obvious entrance to the workings. This falls to a small platform, where there is a drumhouse at the head of a second incline on the same alignment. This led via a level tramway and a second incline to the mill (NPRN 409280), but the lower part of the upper incline, the level link and the upper part of the second incline were drowned when Llyn Stwlan was deepened as part of the Festiniog Pump-Storage scheme in 1963.
