The buildings, on the north bank of the Afon LLyfni, are named only on the 1st edition, 1889, of the 25-inch O. S. maps. A major leat 0.5km long fed a waterwheel at the north-east gable. By the date, 1900, of the 2nd edition the buildings may have become part of the adjacent Bryn Woollen Factory (NPRN 411187). Now converted to a dwelling, the main building retains a slate roof whose wide span is characteristic of other large slate mills, and its walls contain sawn slate blocks.
