Carrow Hill is a small village located 5 miles east of Caerleon. Carrow Hill Bronze Age Round Barrow is approx. 0.25 miles to the west of the village, and to the south-west lies The Larches Prehistoric Camp (NPRN: 307950) which is a Scheduled Ancient Monument (SAM: MM069).
