The Cliff Hotel, Gwbert is located on the clifftop, north of Gwbert. The hotel was originally Gwbert Inn and is denoted on the Ordnance Survey County Series mapping (Cardiganshire XXIX 12, 1st edition 1889) as Gwbert (PH). On the 2nd edition mapping (1905) the public house had been expanded and by the 4th edition mapping (1953) with further significant building modifications it has become known as the Gwbert Hotel. The hotel has since been developed further, with a golf course, and recent refurbishment includes spas and a leisure complex.
