Description
The Great Orme Golf Course was laid out in the early 1900s by John Morris of Hoylake. The course had 18 holes, with The Telegraph Hotel, now The Summit Hotel (NPRN: 412156), serving as the clubhouse. The golf course closed for the First World War, reopening in 1919, but with the advent of the Second World War the course closed and never reopened. During its years of opening it was home to the Great Orme Golf Club. It now forms part of the Great Orme Country Park.
