Description
Part of the early development of port of Amlwch, this former range of warehousing had arched vaults which ran under the road behind. They are associated with Nicholas Bayley who is recored as having paid £13 19s 7d to workman for making or modifying copper receving bins and a storehouse at Amlwch in 1770. He also had a 60ft quay from which he exported ore to Warrington for smelting. The range of warehousing measuring 41m x 7m is shown on the 1st and 2nd edtion 25in mapping. Modern aerial photography shows only an area of rough scrub.
