Description
Flint troughs were installed in 1895 some 2.58 km to the east of Flint Station (centre point at 189 miles 78 1/2 chains from London Euston station) and were 560 yards (512 metres) long. On the second (1899) and third (1912) editions of the Ordnance Survey 25in mapping, a tank is depicted and annotated near each end of the troughs on the south side of the railway.
