DescriptionPrestatyn troughs were installed in 1885 some 0.63 km to the west of Prestatyn Station (centre point at 205 miles 74 1/2 chains from London Euston station) and were 510 yards (466 metres) long. On the second (1899) and third (1912) editions of the Ordnance Survey 25in mapping, tanks are depicted and annotated near each end of the troughs on the south side of the railway.
