Description
The village of Llannor is situated two miles north west of Pwllheli. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd editions of the OS maps, published in 1889; 1900 and 1918 respectively, show that there was once a public house called the Ty Mawr Inn in the centre of the village, although this has long since closed. Llannor does have a playground, a Welsh Calvinistic Methodist Chapel called Bethania (NPRN 7017) and a parish church of 13th century origin called the Holy Cross church (NPRN 301081).
