DescriptionNantcol is a small farm situated approximately four and a half miles south east of Harlech. It appears on both modern OS maps and on the 1st and 2nd editions of the 25 inch OS maps, published in 1889 and 1901 respectively. Field boundaries at the farm are defined with dry stone walls, and there is a sheepfold located close to the farm house. This sheep fold is marked on historic OS maps, but not the modern editions, although the sheep fold is still visible in aerial photographs.
