Rhiwgaeron farm is situated approximately half a mile south east of Llwyngwril. The farm appears on modern OS maps as well as on the first edition of the 25 inch OS map, published in 1889. It is possible that Rhiwgaeron means 'hill of berries' or 'hill of fruit.'
