DescriptionRoughly rectangular sheep fold built with dry stone walls. It is approximately 50 metres long and 5 metres wide and divided into five segments, with the middle segment being around twice the size of the others. On the 1st and 2nd editions of the 25 inch OS maps, published in 1889 and 1901, the sheepfold is recorded. Although it is no longer recorded on modern OS maps, the sheepfold is still visible in aerial photographs. It is situated to the west of the main farm complex at Nant-y-gwyrddail farm, which is about four miles north east of Fairbourne.
