Description
Stradmore Fach ('Little Stradmore) is situated between the western banks of the river Teifi and the edge of Stradmore woods, about 500 metres north east of Stradmore house (NPRN 35244). The farmyard is enclosed within a rectangular brick wall measuring some 90 metres by 40 metres, and most of the agricultural buildings are made of corrugated iron. There is a farmhouse on the north eastern side of the enclosure. The farm is named on historic OS maps - from the first edition of the 25inch OS map published in 1888, to the fourth edition of the 6inch OS map, published in 1953 - but not on the 2017 OS map, although the outline of the wall and some of the buildings is clearly marked.
