Royal Commission aerial reconnaissance on 19th July 2019, during the 2018 drought, recorded cropmarks of a simple univallate square enclosure to the west of Artha, measuring approx. 50m square. The enclosure may represent a former moated site, or a prehistoric defended enclosure. There is an area of ditching or digging in its west side, possibly the remains of a small linear quarry or pond.
