Originally a medieval hall house, dendro-chronologically dated to c.1525, this building is of cruck-framed construction with box-panelled walls. The hall house was converted to a barn, probably when the new house (nprn 29912) was built nearby in the mid-late seventeenth century, and the end walls were rebuilt.
