Description
This lych gate is situated within the east churchyard boundary of St Celynin's church, Llangelynin (NPRN 43864). It is a Grade II listed building, thought to date to the eighteenth century. Its walls are of rubble stone, with integral benches. The entries have flat lintles, the outer with iron gates. The coped gables conceal a slate gabled roof. A plaque in the gable commemorates the rebuilding of the churchyard walls by public subscription in 1884.
