A quay, some 119m in length, is shown on OS 1st edition 25in mapping annoated 'Timber Yard'. The southern end of the quay is occupied by a building some 25m in length with two cisterns. The complex is annotated 'Chemical Works' and as disused by the 2nd edition mapping. Modern aerial photography suggests the site has been redeveloped into a dwelling.
