DescriptionAn irregular L-plan house, originally built in 1757 by Lewis Gwynne as an inn. By 1815 it was no longer used for this purpose and George Wigley rebuilt it in 1852. The house is two storey's high partly made of coursed rubble. The roofs are of slate with oversailing eaves and brick/rendered chimney stacks. Gothic influences can be seen in the gothic headed staircase window to the NW gable and the gothic half glazed door at the main entrance.
