Description
Vale Road Methodist Chapel was built in 1826, rebuilt 1842. Further modifications took place in 1868, 1876 and during the1880's, when the adjoining schoolroom and manse were added. The present chapel, dated 1842, is stone-built in the Simple Round-Headed style, with a Classical pediment and a short-wall entry plan. The main block stone facade has two doorways with fan-lights, which flank a higher pair of windows. Vale Road is now Grade 2 Listed as one of the few buildings in Rhyl to pre-date the expansion of Rhyl as a resort.
