A chapel cause was established at this place by 1808. In 1836 the chapel was built, and later in 1886 a schoolroom was added, in-line. The chapel was originally built in the vernacular style, with long-wall entry type plan, but by 1886 it was rebuilt in the simple round-headed style, its lateral doorways were blocked, and an entrance was made in the gable, via the schoolroom lateral entry. The chapel was disused by the late-20th century and converted to residential.
