Sychnant Methodist Chapel was built in 1825 which by 1851 had become a private or domestic chapel. Later nineteenth century refurbishment included the addition of "some rudimentary temple pillars" to the front facade. The present chapel, datd 1825, is built in the Vernacular style, similar to a welsh longhouse with the chapel and ministers house under one continuous roofline, with a long-wall entry plan.
