Description
1. Garden layout, boundaries, pathways & planting, of garden layed out within the northern portion of Brecon Castle (NPRN 92021), depicted on OS 1:500 Brecon Town Plan (1888); principal entrance on south, opening off Castle Square.

Incorporates:
Ely Tower (NPRN 309157).

A similar garden layout can be observed at the other end of the medieval walled town, where a stretch of rampart & wall, including a tower, was incorporated into the gardens of Watton Mount (see NPRN 275616).
