The facade has a large round-headed doorway, flanked by round-headed windows, and with a further three identical windows above. In the pediment is a date plaque inscribed BUILT 1830 REBUILT 1876, and the inscription SALEM BAPTIST CHAPEL. This Chapel has two storeys with gallery stairs to either side of the entrance. The pulpit is to the rear, with doors either side leading to a meeting room/Sunday school. This rear room also has separate side entrance and a second adjacent room built to its rear.
