This fine stone cairn measures 18.5m in diameter and is 1.3m high. It stands on a natural terrace, from where clear views are given south-westwards down the upper Ystwyth valley. A rough sheep-shelter, c.5m square, has been created on top of the cairn. It is notable that this cairn, despite its impressive size, is virtually invisible in the landscape and is only seen from close proximity. Several smaller cairns, NPRNs 502524-504527, are recorded close by and together the cairns form cairn cemetery NPRN 502591.
