DescriptionA post-medieval trial level was driven to the east in Cwm Twrch, likely to find lead ore. The mine was presumably unsuccessful. It appears on the second edition 25? O.S. Map as `Old Level (Lead)? indicating that it was disused by the turn of the twentieth century.
