This stone cairn is part of the cairnfield on Mynydd y Capel and lies within the scheduled area. It measures 6 metres by 5 metres and 0.60 metres high. When the area was surveyed as part of the Uplands Initiative by Trysor in 2012 vegetation cover was grass. This site is RC 14 on the RCAHMW plan of the "Cairn Cemetery" on Mynydd y Capel on page 112 of the Glamorgan Inventory Volume 1 Part 1, 1976. J.J. Hall, Trysor, 23 March 2013
